What Creatify is
Creatify is an AI ad generator. You give it a product URL or an image. It writes ad scripts, casts an AI actor to deliver them, adds product shots and captions, and gives you a stack of video ad variations to test.
Its focus is the UGC-style ad: a person talking to camera about a product, the format that fills TikTok and Instagram feeds. Creatify replaces the person with an AI actor. It lists 300 actors on its cheapest plan and 1,500 on Pro and above.
Around that core, Creatify has built a full ad workflow. There is a competitor ad tracker, an ad cloner, a chat-based Creative Agent, a node-based editor called Ad Flow, a model playground and an ad launcher that pushes creatives to Meta, TikTok and AppLovin and reports back on spend, ROAS and CTR.
Creatify says it supports 18,000+ brands and agencies, has created 15M+ ads and has raised $24M from investors including WndrCo and Comcast Ventures. It also says it holds SOC 2 Type II.
Who it is for
Creatify fits you if:
- You run an online store or app and need many ad variations every week.
- You are a performance marketer who tests hooks and angles at volume.
- You are an agency making ads for several brands and want separate brand spaces.
- You want competitor research, creation and launch in one tool.
Skip it if:
- You are a YouTuber or social creator making your own content. Creatify’s every screen is built around ads.
- You need a training or explainer video with an avatar. HeyGen or Synthesia fit that better.
- You want to make one or two ads a month. The free plan can do that, but you will not use most of the product.
How it works
Creatify gives you several ways in. Its homepage names four: the Agent, Ad Flow, URL to video, or starting from scratch.
URL to video
This is the quickest path:
- Paste a product page link. Creatify reads the product name, images and selling points.
- Pick from the scripts it writes, or edit them.
- Choose an AI actor and a style, either “authentic UGC or polished cinematic” in Creatify’s words.
- Generate a batch of variations. The homepage says you can “batch create a dozen variations at once.”
- Edit any video in the built-in editor, then export or launch it.
Free accounts get about 2 video ads a month from this flow, watermarked.
Creative Agent and Ad Flow
The Creative Agent is a chat copilot. You describe the campaign and it plans, builds and ships the ads. Creatify’s learning center has a run of tutorials on pairing it with Claude to run whole ad workflows.
Ad Flow is a node-based editor. You wire up inputs like a product image, a script and an actor into a reusable graph. Standard gets 200+ templates for it, Pro and above get 500+. This is the tool for agencies that make the same kind of ad over and over.
Research: Ad Clone and the competitor tracker
On Pro and above, the competitor ad tracker searches more than 10M Meta ads, so you can see what rivals in your niche are running. Ad Clone takes the URL of an ad you like and remakes it with your product.
Use Ad Clone with care. Copying a structure or hook is normal in advertising. Copying a competitor’s script and look closely can create trademark and copyright problems. Treat the clone as a starting draft.
Model Playground
The Model Playground gathers image and video models into one place. Creatify lists its own Aurora and Boreal models for avatars and video, plus third-party models: Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 and O3, Seedance 2.5, Wan 3.0, MiniMax, Grok Video, PixVerse V5 and others for video, and Nano Banana, Seedream, Flux and GPT Image for stills.
Creatify cannot agree with itself on how many. The playground page title says “100+ AI Models,” its description says “20+ AI models,” and the page body says “50+ elite AI models.” The plan cards list 50+ on Standard and 100+ on Pro. The free plan FAQ says 10. Expect the exact list to depend on your plan and to change often.
Launch and optimise
Connect your Meta, TikTok or AppLovin ad accounts once and push creatives live from Creatify. The Performance Agent then lets you ask questions of your ad data, such as which hook converted best. Creatify shows spend, ROAS and CTR per creative and supports A/B testing across campaigns, by its own description.
Output quality
We have not made ads with Creatify, so we cannot judge how real its actors look or how well its scripts convert. Here is what to weigh:
- AI actors. Creatify calls its avatars “the most realistic avatars yet” and its learning center has guides on why “your UGC looks fake.” Lip-sync and expressions have improved fast across this category, but viewers still spot AI avatars in close-ups and long takes. Short hooks with quick cuts hide it best.
- Performance claims. The homepage cites 2.7x more leads than static image ads and 1.7x higher ROI, sourced to “Meta, Wistia, HubSpot, Creatify benchmarks,” plus customer stories with large CPA and ROAS gains. These are vendor-picked results. Your numbers depend on your product, offer and audience.
- Third-party models in the playground will look the same here as anywhere else. Creatify’s value is wrapping them in an ad workflow, not making them better.
A note on disclosure
An AI actor saying “I tried this and loved it” is not a real customer review. In many markets, ad rules treat fake testimonials as deceptive, and Meta and TikTok both have policies on AI-generated content. Creatify publishes an AI ethics page and a moderation policy. Read them, label AI content where platforms ask, and do not present an AI actor as a genuine customer.
Pricing
Creatify runs on monthly credits. Yearly billing saves about 30%.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | 10 credits a month, about 2 video ads, watermark |
| Standard | $10/mo yearly, $15 monthly | 55 credits, 300 actors, 50+ models, videos up to 2 minutes |
| Pro | $38/mo yearly, $55 monthly | 280 credits, 1,500 actors, 3 custom avatars, Ad Clone, competitor tracker, Agent |
| Max | $66/mo yearly, $95 monthly | 730 credits, 3 seats, 10 parallel generations |
| Business | See pricing page | 1,500 to 6,100 credits, 10 seats |
| Enterprise | Custom | Unlimited seats, managed creative and media buying |
What the pricing page does not spell out:
- Credits per ad vary. The free plan’s “10 credits for about 2 video ads” suggests roughly 5 credits per standard video ad. By that rate, Standard’s 55 credits make about 11 ads a month. Premium models and longer videos cost more, so treat that as a ceiling.
- Standard is a creation-only plan. The research and agent tools that make Creatify more than an avatar generator start at Pro. If you want Ad Clone or the competitor tracker, Pro at $38 a month billed yearly is the real starting price.
- Max is Pro with seats. It adds credits, 3 seats, 3 brand spaces and more parallel generations. Solo users rarely need it.
- Business and Enterprise add services. Creatify offers AI-powered creative and media buying services at the top end, which is closer to an agency than a tool.
Alternatives to consider
Creatify sits in a crowded corner of AI video. Which rival fits depends on how much of the ad workflow you want in one place.
- Arcads is the closest match. It also makes UGC-style ads with AI actors and targets performance marketers. It also bundles Seedance, Veo and Kling, but it hides prices until you add a card, while Creatify publishes its plans.
- HeyGen has a broader avatar product used for training, sales outreach and translation as well as ads. Pick it if your team makes more than ads.
- Vidboard turns docs, decks and links into presenter-led avatar videos, sold in one-time video packs instead of a subscription.
Where Creatify pulls ahead is the loop around the ad. Competitor research, Ad Clone, the ad launcher and the Performance Agent mean you can find an angle, make variations, push them to Meta or TikTok and read the results without leaving the tool. If you only need the actor video and run campaigns elsewhere, a narrower tool may cost less.
Verdict
Creatify is a strong pick if your job is making and testing paid social ads. It covers the full loop, from spying on competitors to launching and measuring, and its AI actor library is built for exactly the UGC format that performs on TikTok and Meta. Yearly Standard at $10 a month is a cheap way in, and Pro is where it pays off.
It is a poor fit for general creators. The free plan is two ads a month, budgeting credits takes trial and error, and its pages contradict each other on how many models you get. Use AI actors with clear disclosure, and test a few ads against your real creative before you move your whole budget.
