Hello8: A serious subtitle tool aimed at professional delivery, with a proofreading AI Reviewer, frame-accurate editor and broadcast formats. It is overkill for TikTok captions, prices only in euros, and the free plan lets you see but not download your subtitles.
RenderCut: A focused, fairly priced caption editor that has shipped steadily since its February 2025 launch, with useful extras like audio-to-video and SRT import. It is a small team's product, several advertised features are still marked coming soon, and its terms and FAQ pages were not live when we checked.
