What Topview is
Topview is an AI video agent built for marketing videos and short films. You describe an idea, paste a script, upload a reference video or drop in a product URL. The agent plans the scenes, picks a model for each one, generates the assets and keeps every shot editable on a canvas.
It does not train its own video model. Topview resells third-party models through one credit balance: Seedance 2.5 and 2.0, Kling, Wan 3.0, MiniMax H3, Google Veo 3.1 Fast, Vidu, and image models like Nano Banana, GPT Image and Seedream. Its homepage says plainly that it “is not the developer of those third-party models.”
Topview started as an ad tool. URL-to-video, UGC-style product ads and AI avatars are still its strongest pitch. It has since added a film side, with Drama Studio, a 3D shot composer and film festival tie-ins. The company is TOPVIEW PTE. LTD., with addresses in Singapore and Los Angeles.
Who it is for
Topview fits you if:
- You sell products online and need many short ad variants, fast.
- You are an affiliate or performance marketer who wants to clone the structure of winning ads.
- You want avatar videos, lip sync and voice cloning in the same place as your generative video.
- You want access to Seedance, Kling, Wan and Veo without paying for each separately.
- You want to make vertical micro-drama series with consistent characters.
Skip it if:
- You want to try before paying. There is no free plan on the pricing page.
- You want simple, predictable pricing. Topview’s pricing page is one of the busiest in the category.
- You need one perfect clip with the most control. A direct model front end, or the model maker’s own app, gives you more settings per generation.
How it works
Topview has four main workspaces, and they share one credit balance.
Video Agent
The agent is the front door. Type a request like “create a UGC-style product ad” or “make a 30-second launch video,” or start from a product URL. Topview says the agent plans scenes, selects models, generates assets and lays everything out on Canvas so you can change any shot.
Skills sit under the prompt box: Motion Video Design, Short Film Scriptwriter, Actor Expression Enhancer, Explainer Video Maker, Video Recast, UGC Ads and TVC Product Ad. These are preset playbooks the agent follows.
Canvas
Canvas is a free-form, agent-driven workspace. Topview says it proposes scenes, creates assets, runs the production flow and helps keep voice, characters and visual identity consistent across multi-shot videos. It suits people who want to see and adjust the whole production, not just the final cut.
Drama Studio
Drama Studio turns a novel, script or plot into micro-dramas and vertical series. Topview says it keeps characters, scenes, visuals and sound consistent across episodes. Its community gallery is full of numbered episodes, which suggests people are using it for serialized content.
Board and the tool shelf
Board lets you run image, video, audio and avatar models in one place and compare the results. Around it sits a long shelf of single tools:
- Avatars: 5,000+ public avatars, Avatar 4 (up to 180 seconds per video), product avatars from your own photo, video lip sync up to 30 minutes and voice cloning.
- Ad research: TikTok Ad Library browsing and filtering.
- Video Clone and Recast: reuse a reference video’s script structure, pacing or style for your product.
- Film tools: 3D Shot Composer, camera movement control, relighting, depth extraction, upscaling and storyboard preview.
- Developer access: API, an MCP server and plugins for ChatGPT, Codex and Claude.
The footer also lists face swap, body swap and watermark removers, including ones named for TikTok and Sora. Those sit uncomfortably next to a tool pitched at brands. If you run ads, use your own assets and licensed people.
Output quality
We have not generated with Topview, so this section is about what drives quality.
Because Topview resells models, the look of each shot depends on the model behind it. Seedance 2.5 is one of the strongest current video models, and Kling, Veo and Wan are all serious options. Topview’s value is the layer on top: planning, consistency across shots, avatars and ad templates.
Things to watch:
- Resolution and mode. Many of the cheap or unlimited routes are 720p or 480p. Topview’s own “Draft Mode” pitch is to iterate at 480p and finish at 1080p.
- The queue. Unlimited generations run in a standard queue. Topview says waits “may be lengthy” and that using only Unlimited can lower your priority.
- Ad compliance. Topview’s affiliate-marketing FAQ addresses ad-policy compliance, but you are the one who answers to Meta and TikTok. AI avatars and cloned ads still need accurate claims and disclosure where required.
Pricing
This is the hardest part of Topview to read. The pricing page shows countdown timers, “up to 66% off” banners, credit multipliers, unlimited windows of 7, 30 or 365 days, and different delivery schedules per plan. Prices exclude VAT.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $8 (list $18) | not shown | 50 a month |
| Plus | $24 (list $36) | $18/mo, $216 upfront | 100 a month |
| Business | $58 (list $75) | $44/mo, $528 upfront | 250 a month, or 3,000 upfront on yearly |
| Ultra | $112 (list $150) | $50/mo, $599.90 upfront | 500 a month |
| Team | $118 per seat | $56 per seat | 500 per seat a month |
Things the page does not make obvious:
- Credit delivery differs. Topview says Basic, Plus, Ultra and Team credits arrive monthly, while Business annual credits arrive all at once. Ultra annual monthly credits expire at the next grant.
- Credits buy little on the low plans. Plus’s 100 credits cover about 66 seconds of Seedance 2.5 at 720p a month, by Topview’s own estimate. At 1080p Seedance 2.5 costs 14.8 credits per 4 seconds.
- Yearly Ultra is the real offer. It includes 30 days of unlimited Seedance 2.5 and 2.0 at 720p, plus a year of unlimited Wan 3.0, MiniMax H3 and GPT Image 2.5 at set resolutions. Topview’s comparison table puts this at $0.12 per second of Seedance 2.5 720p, against $0.21 to $0.28 at OpenArt, Higgsfield, Runway and Magnific. That table is Topview’s own and was dated August 7, 2026.
- Unlimited is web-only. It does not work through the API, MCP or CLI, and Ultra and Team plan credits cannot be used for API calls at all.
- Monthly credits do not roll over. Top-up packs of 250, 600 or 1,000 credits stay valid for 24 months.
- Pro is closed. Existing Pro subscribers keep it, but new buyers cannot choose it.
How to make your credits go further
Topview publishes per-model credit costs, which makes planning possible if you use them:
- Draft cheap, finish once. Seedance 2.5 costs 2.8 credits per 4 seconds at 480p, 6 at 720p and 14.8 at 1080p. Topview’s own Draft Mode advice is to iterate at 480p and render the keeper at 1080p.
- Pick the cheaper model when it is close enough. Topview pitches Wan 3.0 as “near-Seedance 2.5 quality at 30% of the price” and MiniMax H3 as near Seedance 2.0 at 30% of the cost. Wan 3.0 at 720p is 2 credits per 4 seconds before discounts.
- Use unlimited for drafts, credits for deadlines. Unlimited runs in a slower queue. Switch to Credit Mode when you need a result now. Topview says using Credit Mode also lifts the priority of your later unlimited tasks.
- Mind when credits arrive. On Business annual you get 3,000 credits upfront for the year. On Plus and Ultra they arrive monthly and do not roll over, so use them before the next grant.
- Buy top-ups on an annual plan. The 1,000-credit pack has the lowest per-credit price and is only for Ultra and Business annual subscribers. Top-ups stay valid for 24 months.
How it compares
Topview sits closest to CrePal and Higgsfield. All three wrap the big third-party models behind an agent or studio layer. CrePal is more chat-first and story-driven. Higgsfield leans into cinema and influencer studios. Topview’s edge is ad tooling: product URLs, UGC formats, ad cloning, the TikTok Ad Library and a large avatar library. If you make ads for products, that is the reason to choose it.
Refunds and downgrades
Topview’s pricing FAQ says team memberships follow its standard refund policy and asks you to contact support about specific orders. It does not spell out the policy there. Business and annual members cannot downgrade directly; you cancel and re-subscribe at the lower tier. Subscriptions renew automatically.
Verdict
Topview is a capable ad and short-film workspace with most of the big video models behind one login. The agent, Canvas, Drama Studio and avatar tools cover more ground than most wrappers, and the yearly Ultra plan is a cheap way to run Seedance if you can tolerate the queue.
The pricing is the problem. There is no free plan, the promotions change on a timer, and you need to read the FAQ to learn when your credits arrive. Start with Basic at $8 or monthly Plus, test the exact ad or series you need, and only buy a yearly plan once you know which model and resolution you will use most.
